Midterms, Waffles, and Scotland.

Happy Tuesday!

I’m scrambling to get everything together and prepped for the end of my first semester of grad school (while eating waffles and typing this blog), trying to organize precisely what I have to do and when to do it. Did you guys know Kroger sells Vegan, GF, Pumpkin Spice waffles? Well, they do and you have to try them.

Other than my very nice waffle discovery, this weekend was filled with last minute Halloween festivies with Austin (please see our costumes below because they’re perfect), and packing and moving. I currently have, I think, 4 papers to write and 3 assignments to grade for my class that I work in. Just a smidge of work that will hopefully get done in my office hours.

For all my post-graduation babies, is it mega weird to just be adulting 24/7? I always get these waves of strangeness and self awareness randomly throughout the day of “wow, I’m really out here doing the damn thing.” Maybe that’s me, but I really doubt you’ve NEVER experienced this haha. The strangest feeling, to be honest. Can you believe there’s roughly a month (give or take a few days) left of this semester? I’ve already scheduled for next semester, which SURPRISE! I’m studying abroad in Scotland for a week!!!!!!! I’m super, super excited. It’ll be my first trip out of the country! So if you have any tips for a first-timer please send them my way. I have a lot of ducks to get in a row between now and then. Thank goodness I have the best fiance in the absolute world. Really don’t know what I’d do without him. ❤

Well, this short blog has helped me pass 12 minutes of my procrastination time. Breaks are always nice. Make sure you take a few to self indulge in things like pumpkin spice waffles and writing about things you care about.

I’m not sure if you’ve seen, but I started a new section called Weekend Essentials! I will hopefully post fun, funky things to do in Atlanta on Thursdays for the weekend that follows. 🙂 Make sure you enter your email and it’ll update you.

talk soon.

xx. ❤
