My 2018 Lookbook.

The time has come for me to flip the final page in this chapter of my life and begin a new one.

When this post goes live, I’ll be walking across the stage receiving my degree in English Literature.

This month… this whole year has been so eventful, so crazy. I can’t even fathom it all. So let’s recap shall we? At the start of 2018 I began my blog (does it even feel that long ago?), I started working at Mod Salon, which has turned into such a blessing. I have visited New York and Chicago. I have published 6 articles within DIG Magazine, and also interviewed Lauren Daigle. I have successfully applied to 12 English PhD programs for the Fall of 2019. I ran a 5K through LSU into Death Valley. I have accepted a job with Houstonia Magazine, and finalized my first apartment in Houston, Texas. And lastly, I have earned my Bachelor’s of Art at Louisiana State University.

Not only am I leaving my home to start a new chapter in Houston, but I’m saying goodbye to 3 jobs, 4 years worth of memories, and 4 years worth of friendships I have made along the way. As I pack up my apartment piece by piece, I can’t help but remember every single detail of my life leading up to this point.

Let’s recap 2018 with pictures?

When I moved here 4 year ago, I did not think I would be where I am at now. I am so thankful and feel so blessed day after day to be living my absolute dream. I’ve become a writer. I’ve become an editor. I’ve offically become the person I always dreamed about being. I have healed myself and learned to love myself so much throughout this year.

Change is scary. I’ve never been more terrified to do something in my life, but I know this is exactly where I need to be and I’m doing exactly what I’m meant to be doing. I can’t wait to see what 2019 has instore for me, and where my career will take me. I can’t wait to see where I end up for grad school and to take on the stress of moving once more. There will be countless blogs and so much more to come, I can’t wait to share it all moment by moment.

I live every single day by the title of my website.

Living is epic. I’m definitely making my own Epic Existence.
